Justin Taylor has an interesting post over at his site today (as he does many times in one day). For those of you who don’t know, J.I. Packer has been a staple in the conservative evangelical movement for nearly 50 years. Now, unless the ministers of St. John’s Church, where Packer serves, give a satisfactory explanation to the Anglican Communion as to why they left the synod when the leaders of that synod voted to bless same-sex unions, all of their ordinations as Ministers of the Sacrament and the Word will be revoked by the church. You can read Justin Taylor’s full article here, where he also has links to responses from the ministers of St. John’s church and links to an even fuller article.
