My good friend Bryan has put up two posts on homosexuality. The first asks whether or not homosexuality is the unforgivable sin, and the second asks whether or not it is a choice. I would also encourage you to read the comments to see some common arguments against his position and how those arguments don’t really hold water.
Thanks for the link love.
“Sin, Choice, or Both?” How about: “Sin, Choice, or Neither”???
@ThisMoment: I don’t like having answers to questions in the comment section longer than the actual post, nor do I think you’re actually asking my opinion. Just in case you haven’t I would recommend you check out the two articles I linked to on the page. I think they handle the question with sensitivity and clarity. The short-answer version to your question would be this: I believe the Bible establishes truth from untruth, and that part of the truth contained therein is that homosexuality is a sin. Granted, it’s not the only sin mentioned in scripture, but it does receive some special attention, particularly in Romans 1 and I Corinthians 6. Like I said, I would encourage you to check out Bryan’s two posts for more information.
Thanks for checking out the site.
If homosexuality is a choice so is being heterosexual is to. They are both sexual orientation. Obviously that isn’t true- the percentage of homosexuals is 10-5%.
Obviously……..
